Week One Predictions | Vikings @ Buccaneers

The pre-season for the Bucc's was okay. One loss against the Steelers and two dubs against the Jets & Ravens. We will say that Tampa fans should be hoping for a good start this year, as their division's looking pretty tough. But having Baker Mayfield as your starting quarterback, makes seem like it won't be Tampa's year this season. He's got a lot to work on, such as his turnover rate.

The Vikings defence is not only going to be a potential nightmare for Mayfield this Sunday, but may be a scary one for most of the league.
With new additions such as, Marcus Davenport & Brian Flores, the D-line is not only terrifying, but unpredictable to say the least.

In the attack on the other hand, we see a lot of play-action with Kirk Cousins, next to Justin Jefferson, and rookie Jordan Addison will often be receiving the ball. Addison has shown his capabilities this summer, experts predict he'll make up to 80 catches in his first year as a pro. Even if Cousins is no longer the player he used to be, the long-standing QB of the Vikings is always solid.

The departures at Tampa Bay are piling up. Even if the young talents pull through this season, the success largely depends on Mayfield. Shortly before the start of the season, there were two instances of bad news: WR Russell Gage is out of the entire season due to injury and it's looking like a farewell with star receiver Mike Evans - a contract extension seems unlikely.
